Among many projects we had in the Florida Keys for the Hurricane Irma recovery, were fire stations in the town of Islamorada. Storm winds damaged the roofs of two, three-bay fire stations resulting in rain intrusion. The interiors and equipment, including two fire trucks, were damaged. As the project lead, we were able to issue over $500K to support repairs. There projects are particularly critical as it helps the first responders get back to full capacity so they in turn can serve their communities in the recovery.
